Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons coffee oil
  • 2 tablespoons virgin coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon organic beeswax
  • 2 teaspoons 100% pure jojoba oil
  • wide-mouthed glass jar and a small saucepan

  • Coffee Oil

Coffee oil is naturally packed with antioxidants and together with caffeine, they work to boost the skin’s own ability to restore, heal, firm and tighten.

How to make coffee oil?

Make coffee infused oil by using the hot infusion method. In a small sauce pan, mix 4 tablespoons of ground coffee with 8 tablespoons of pure olive oil. Heat it over low heat for more than 30 minutes. Then, by using coffee filter strain the oil.

  • Coconut Oil

This powerful oil is highly beneficial for the skin, including the skin around the eyes. It can prevent dryness and fine lines and helps promote healthy skin cells thanks to its vitamins and essential fatty acids. It contains antioxidants that can heal and repair damaged skin and its lactic acid content helps to tighten pores. The oil’s anti-inflammatory properties work to reduce swelling and redness.

  • Beeswax

Beeswax contains vitamin A which promotes cell regeneration and helps to improve hydration. Also, it creates a barrier that helps to seal moisture in the skin and keeps the skin more hydrated.

  • Jojoba Oil

Preparation:
In a heatproof jar add the coffee oil, coconut oil, and beeswax. Melt them together in a pan filled with some water. Then, remove from heat and add 5 drops of patchouli oil. Pour the mix into a wide mouth container and let it cool. Don’t worry if there are some residual coffee grounds. Before going to bed or in the morning, gently pat around eyes.
