We all know how beneficial avocados are and how important it is to make them part of our diet. But until now we did not look at the avocado seeds as a resource that can strongly improve our health. We perceived it as useless except for propagation of new avocado plants.

Well, we were mistaken

Monounsaturated fatty acids lower the bad cholesterol levels in the bloodstream thus lowering the risk of cardiovascular or similar health issues. They also reduce the arterial plaque.
Avocado seeds as aid to the immune system
As we said, there are many antioxidants found in the seed. The procyanidins and the catechins have great properties which improve the productivity of the immune system and reduce swelling, stiffness and joint pain. Zink can also be found in the seeds, which promotes the immune response to disease.

Avocado seed powder or avocado seed oil will prevent the free radicals from damaging your skin. And exactly the free radicals make your skin look older.
HOW TO TAKE OUT THE AVOCADO SEEDS
You can take out avocado seed by the following procedure
- Cut the avocado gently but around the pit to take out the seed
- Place the tip of the knife into the pit, then twist and pull
- Then remove the seed from your knife
- Put the seed into a plastic bag and crush it. You can use the hammer to crush the seed.
RECIPE TO MAKE AVOCADO SMOOTHIE
You need following ingredients to make the avocado smoothie.
- 1/2 avocado
- 1/2 avocado seed
- 1 ripe pear
- 1 cup of almond milk (or water)
- 1 small grated piece of ginger
- 1/2 apple
- 1 cup of organic spinach
Take all of the ingredients plus avocado seeds and mix them in a blender.
RECIPE 2:
Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 cups of almond milk (or water)
- 1/2 avocado seed
- 1/2 to 3/4 of a ripe mango
- 1 ripe pear
- 3/4 of a head of red leaf lettuce
- 3 tablespoons of ground flaxseed
Take all of the ingredients plus avocado seeds and mix them in a blender to make a smoothie.
