Cranberries Orange Smoothie
- ½ cup chopped cranberries
- ½ cup diced peach
- 1 peeled and diced orange
- 1 hard-boiled egg, cut in half
- 1 cup of Greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon of chia seeds
- ½ cup of water
Mix the water and the Greek yogurt and pour in the blender first. Then add the egg and the remaining ingredients. Blend for 20-30 seconds and pour into a large glass.
This smoothie is a great source of iodine, Vitamin C, dietary fiber, and dietary protein.
Spinach Apple Smoothie
- 2 cup of chopped fresh or 1 cup of frozen spinach
- 1 peeled and diced apple
- ½ teaspoon coconut oil
- 1 cup Greek yogurt, mixed with ½ cup of water
- 1 teaspoon nettle seeds
- 1 hard-boiled quail egg
- ½ cup diced avocado
Like all the smoothie recipes, pour the liquid into the blender first. Then add the other ingredients and blend for 20-30 seconds, or less, until everything is mixed and blended thoroughly.
All of the ingredients are a perfect combination of the essential minerals needed for proper thyroid function.
Kale Strawberries Smoothie
- 2 cup of chopped kale leaves
- 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
- 1 cup fresh or frozen Aronia (chokeberry)
- 1 cup of Greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon milled hazelnuts
- 1 teaspoon milled flaxseeds
- 1 teaspoon raw honey
Pour the Greek yogurt in the blender, then add the rest of the ingredients. Blend for about 20-30 seconds, then pour in a large glass and enjoy.
