How to Dry Rose Petals
The best time to pick rose petals is when the rose is in peak bloom. Try to find roses that haven’t been chemically treated.
Gather the freshest rose petals and carefully wash them with lukewarm water. Drain them well and place them in a single layer over parchment paper. Remove all stems, traces of leaves or bugs.
Preheat the oven to 90 degrees Celsius and dry the petals until all the residual water has evaporated.
Once dry, they should be crisp and break apart easily. If they are still flexible, put them back in the oven before testing them again. Bake for additional 2-3 minutes.

Rose petals contain Vitamin C which acts as an antioxidant, refreshing your skin and fighting off the harmful free radicals.
Homemade skin cleaner can be made with 1 teaspoon of crushed rose petals, and 2 teaspoons of water. Mix well until they form a paste, and add more water if necessary. For antibiotic properties of this cleaner, add 1 teaspoon of raw honey. Apply this paste on clean face and let it sit for 15 minutes. Wash with tepid water.

Rose petals can refresh your home and add it a nice overall fragrance. Mix 2 teaspoons of rose petals, 2 teaspoons of dried ginger, and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon and mix well. Depending on what you want to use this mixture for, put in a tiny paper bag to refresh drawers, linen closets, or pillowcases, or in a small glass bowl to add a fresh smell to any room in the house.
Rose Water Bath
Fill the tub with hot water and add 2 handful dried rose petals. This will give the water mild and gentle fragrance to relax and enjoy. You can add ¼ cup of sea salt into the hot tub, for healing and detoxifying effects for the skin.
