Now more than ever is important to keep our home clean and disinfect the whole household. Usually, the first thing that comes in mind is that we should disinfect every surface in our home.
But one thing that probably won’t think of is that even though you disinfect the surfaces, you don’t clear the air in the closed space, and not all the microbes die on the surfaces, some could stay in the air.
So while the recommendation is that staying indoor is safe we should also keep in mind that the air we breathe in closed space should be properly cleaned.
We recommend that you should try to make this homemade natural antiseptic and antiviral air spray to maintain optimal air humidity and to prevent the growth of microbes.
Using the healing properties of essential oils you can disinfect and improve the air in closed spaces.
You probably wonder how could essential oils disinfect?! Well, that is a valid question, but keep an open mind, because everything that is laboratory-made comes from a natural element that has a chemical formula.
Essential oils are no exception!
The chemical composition of the natural oils has a propensity to reduce the growth of different pathogens because of the natural compounds produced by the plant’s organs. Recent studies prove the antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral effects of the essential oils.
Essential oils may affect the bacteria by obstructing its growth or demolish bacteria’s cells. The complex constituents of the essential oils have a wide range in fighting off fungal pathogens.
Even though viruses are still the most difficult opponent in the medicine area, researches show that the pure compounds of the plant-based products have naturally high chemical diversity. Based on researches like this we can assume that there is evidence that the natural properties of the essential oils can contribute to the battle against DNA and RNA viruses.
