THE RECIPE
Ingredients:
- 1 cup plus 3 cups of water
- 4 tsp dried organic turmeric
- 4 tsp dried ginger or two inches fresh ginger root
- ¾ tsp black pepper
- ¼ cup honey
Instructions:
Measure and place the turmeric, ginger, and black pepper in a small saucepan. Then, cover them with 1 cup water and boil them. reduce the heat to a simmer and leave it like that for a few minutes. Turn off the heat and add the honey. For a stronger concentration, let it steep overnight. Next, strain the mixture by using a cheesecloth and remove some of the gritty powder and fresh ginger. In this way, the texture will be smoother. You can make one drink at a time and more water can be added according to the taste you are looking for. Store it in your refrigerator.
