  • 1 cup of raw almonds, soaked for 12 hours first
  • 3 cups filtered water, plus extra to soak almonds
  • 1 tsp sea salt, plus an extra pinch
  • Splash fresh lemon juice
  • For a sweeter almond milk, you can add:
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 to 3 tbsp raw honey or pure maple syrup, or 4 to 6 pitted dates

Preparation:

Place the almonds in a large glass or bowl and cover them with filtered water. Then, add the sea salt and splash of lemon juice and cover the container with a breathable towel. Allow the almonds to soak for 12 hours at room temperature.

Afterward, drain the almonds and rinse them a few times. Place the almonds in a blender and add three cups of filtered water, and pinch of sea salt. Blend until almonds are completely pulverized.
