Skin tags can be usually found around the neck, eyes, underarms, breasts or groin. They are small growths or flaps of skin thought to be caused by friction, skin irritation, obesity, and even genetics. Many people find them annoying and want them gone for cosmetic reasons.

There are some at-home methods which are much gentler, and more cost-effective, then the treatment you’ll recieve by visiting your doctor.

Remove skin tags with minimal effort with some of these home remedies:

Apple Cider Vinegar

It is antibacterial and anti-inflammatory which makes ACV a great choice for removing skin tags. First, clean and dry the area around the tag, then apply some apple cider vinegar to a cotton ball and apply to the bump. Keep the cotton ball for 15 minutes and repeat the procedure three times a day. The skin tag will darken, dry and eventually fall off.

Vitamin E Oil

Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant and it can be applied topically to skin tags. You’ll need a Vitamin E liquid which is formulated specifically for topical treatment. Apply few drops of the oil to the skin tag and cover the area with a bandage. Every day clean the affected area and change the bandage. Repeat the procedure every day until the tag is gone.

Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree has been used medicinally to fix all manner of ailments. It is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antibiotic which makes this oil effective at treating skin disorders. Also, it can remove skin tags in a matter of weeks. Apply some tea tree oil to the skin tag three times a day.

Use a Q-tip and hold in place for up to 10 minutes. Tea tree oil might cause irritation and if you notice something like that, blend it with a soothing carrier oil like coconut.

Oil of Oregano
